Canyon Runner Real Time Report - Another BIG Giant & 20 Tickets for AC Left!!

Just a quick heads-up on the bite down south and our first offshore Seminar in AC. Capt. Mark just put a fat 96" bluefin in the boat that he thinks is the biggest of the year for us which would put it easily over 500 pounds. Apparently it was a very wierd fight as they fought it on the rod for only a short time thinking that all they had was a shark and got it right to the boat and then fought it on the harpoon line for 20 minutes once they stuck it. Capt. Mark will provide all the details but right now they are working on trying to get another bite.

Pictures will definatley follow once they spend some time at the dock which based on the forecast right now may not be for a few days.

AS FOR THE JANUARY 31 ATLANTIC CITY SEMINAR WE ONLY HAVE 20 TICKETS LEFT - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO WAIT UNTIL THAT MORNING AND SHOW UP WITHOUT A TICKET. AND YES - WE WILL BE SPENDING A LOT OF TIME ON HOW TO TROLL BIG BLUEFIN - WHAT MARK IS DOING IN MOREHEAD IS EXACTLY HOW WE TROLL THEM RIGHT OFF NJ, DELAWARE AND MARYLAND. I SUSPECT THAT BREAKOUT SESSION WILL BE PACKED SO PLEASE GET TO IT EARLY.

I should have waited to put up this post.



They got one deep rod back out in the water while they were cleaning up the 96" fish and jogging back to where they hooked up and right on the numbers they hooked up again. This one was 80" and dead in the cockpit. They are on there way home with another double - that makes 6 fish in 5 trips I believe.



Now we just need to shake some of that luck over to the Regulator that is out there too but yet to hook up today.

THERE IS A DEFINITE TALENT TO COMING TIGHT CONSISTENTLY ...AND TO FINDING THESE ANIMALS....2 YEARS IN A ROW I HAVE WATCHED IT GO DOWN....AND AT CLOSE QUARTERS AS WELL.
