Canyon Runner Quick Report - Lobster Claw Died Out

After reporting great fishing for several days in a row I felt compelled to make sure I get this up before anyone heads out there expecting the same and hopefully save some guys some fuel. Maybe is was the 60-70 boats yesterday to today or maybe it is just over but the fishing died.

The report is that Capt. Mark was only 2 for 4 Thrusday to Friday at the Claw (both fish were in the 58 inch range). Friday to Saturday both our boats caught nothing - not even a touch.

We are maybe going to go back after the weekend and the crowd dies out but we don't intend to bring charters back there in that crowd to not catch.

Thanks for the reports both good and bad! That's a very classy gesture CanyonRunner, letting us know when the bite slows. First Class.
Nice meeting you guys last week at the MA500.

Thanks guys - the only time I don't post is just when I can't find the time due to some of my other obligations. That said I really wanted to get this report up after talking about how great its been all week and now it has dropped off.

Yes there definately is a great bite closer to home to those fish are an honest 20-40 pound fish with a very small percentage being bigger than 40 pounds and we just can't switch our canyon guys over to that fishing. But for everyone else that isn't wed to going to the canyon it is a great option.

I heard it was slow today with alot of bluefish moved in but some guys still caught.

Chuck - It was great meeting you too last week - great shop and thanks a ton for the nice T-Shirts!!! I am wearing it right now!
