Canyon Runner NY Seminar - It is Going to Be the Best Yet - Only 75 Tickets Left - You Must Buy Now!

    Folks,

I put up a post the week before our AC Seminar suggesting why I thought this year's Seminar Series was going to be the best yet. [I haven't posted much this winter about our Seminars as we've been selling tickets fast and furiously without the needed post.] However, I want to share with you the JUST A FEW of the DOZENS of testimonials we received about our AC Seminar last Saturday that we feel proves that our 2011 Seminar Series is by far the best you'll ever attend.

I know it's a lot to read but if you are still on the fence about getting you tickets for our NY Seminar on February 26 please or think that the Seminar is not worth your time and money please read below. We only have 75 tickets left so please contact us this week before we are sold out.

To purchase tickets please call 732-842-6825 or email adam@canyonrunner.com

HERE ARE ALL THE TESTIMONIALS THAT WERE EMAILED TO US - AGAIN IF YOU HAVE DOUBTS ABOUT COMING ON FEBRUARY 26 I WANT TO LET OTHERS CONVINCE YOU THIS TIME INSTEAD OF ME

Adam: Thanks, the seminar was great. I enjoyed it. I will bring some crew next year. You guys do a nice job of it. Looks like a full day for you and your crew.
    Robert

    Hi Adam,

The AC seminar was great as always! I especially appreciated Brad's white marlin breakout session. It added another dimension to the day. Brad did a great job on explaining some of the finer points of white marlin circle hook fishing.

    Best Regards
    Walt

Hey Mark D and Crew - ….just a note to thank you and the CR crew for serving up a great seminar yesterday. Each time I come, I learn something new that helps me and my crew improve my catch ratio’s. I will continue to follow your lead on these topics and ideas/tips and look forward to a safe and productive 2011 season. Well done!!

Anyway - other topics for consideration….wow….you seem to cover everything I need….I am primarily mid shore/inshore running my Albemarle CC. Perhaps that is why I liked Quigley’s show… I fish with some of the guys offshore from the MRMTC here out of Manasquan River…..trying to get better…..

    Hi Guys

I attended your seminar this past Saturday . Fantastic job! I thought the breakout sessions were fantastic

As a relative beginner to offshore fishing (I plan on making my first Canyon trip this season) I found your session on rigging like a professional mate really informative - when I get out there I'll at least have an idea of what's going on and conduct myself properly.

    Thanks!
    Tom

    Hi Brad,

It was great meeting you at the Canyon Runner seminar last Saturday. I enjoyed your presentation and our discussion afterwards. We have been working on our white marlin circle hook ratio for a few years. Just as we think we are making progress things move backwards. It really seems to be about getting the proper angle on the fish. I like your idea of turning the boat at the bite and holding the rod more perpendicular to the fish. Let me know if you ever make it down to the Cape May area.

I will drop Adam a note about your great presentation as well.

    ------------------------------------

Adam… …. I enjoyed all the sessions that I went to,,,,,water temp, kil son, whites, advanced bait rigging…the two I enjoyed most were the intro from you guys in the main room to start the day and the sword fishing. I have been fishing most of my life and learned the most in that session and I think he (Don’t remember his name, but a good guy, not full of himself, spoke from experience and was very good at pointing out some key take aways . The overall organization of the event was excellent as well..Have a great season……….Pete

I did enjoy the seminar last week and thought it was well run and will be back next year. Also purchased a new raft at what I think was a reasonably price. Thanks again for the offer and maybe another year. Let’s hope we have a great season in front of us……Pete

    ------------------------------------

    Dear Adam,

I attended the seminar in AC on Saturday and wish to tell you how much I enjoyed it. I learned a lot and came away very impressed with the quality and professionalism of your staff, and of the operation in general. Now I look forward, more than ever, to getting out in June…Bill

    ------------------------------------

First – thanks for the seminar yesterday – my first time attending and I think it was the best done I’ve ever been to….The video presentation was a surprise – It was better than I expected, I wasn’t planning to do it – and I don’t really know why I changed my mind at the last minute to do so – but I enjoyed it…I thought the material was good in everything I attended – video, white marlin – gene quigley’s tuna, sword, chunking……..Edgar

    ------------------------------------

Adam: As I mentioned in my Saturday night blog it was an excellent presentation. Wish I could have taken in all the breakout sessions. Everything was very professional and well-organized….Al Ristori

    ------------------------------------

    Hi Adam,

Jess and I had a great time at the seminar. The instructors did a great job presenting and answering all questions. Everyone was very professional, helpful and friendly. The material presented was Outstanding!!!!!.... I give it a 10 in my book. I was surprised to see Canyon Runner sharing this wealth of knowledge. Once again thank you for helping us pick out our bars----we ended up getting six bars. I can't wait to use them!!!!!!. Feel free to add me to any future mailing or seminars. See you next year!!!!!......Ralph

    ------------------------------------

    Adam,
Another seminar well done! The extent of detail information provided by you and the Canyon Runner Team made it a truly first class event. Also, I’m glad I had the chance to formally introduce myself to you and I appreciate the time you spent speaking with me……Joe

    ------------------------------------

    Adam,
Thank you, thank you, thank you and thank you again. Saturday's seminar was awesome. The ticket was my wife's Christmas present to me this year. I believe that it will truly be the gift that keeps on giving for many years to come!!
The day was not just entertaining, but constructive education about how to be a better blue water fisherman. I have been running multiple trips each season to the edge for 11 years now and thought I knew a lot of the tricks. Your seminar was like immersion training or tuna boot camp. In our gang, my buddy runs the helm and I run the spread and all of the tackle. We both kept nudging each other with new stuff we learned and were writing down. The fish eye lens in the cockpit showing how Mark runs the spread and triggers multiple hookups was awesome and the underwater camera gave you a confirmation of exactly what it should look like and why you need to do it. Kil Song's presentation on advanced jigging was mind numbing in a good way….fabulous. He's a pretty darn funny guy too. Gene Quigley, who I had heard speak before, gave a tremendous speech on bluefin tuna fishing inshore and again we were taking notes like crazy. Basil Pappas was like a magician crafting the wind on leaders. But the two that I thought were the absolute drop dead best, were Mark's advanced bait rigging and the other Mark's swordfishing session. Watching how they rig the squids for various applications and how they position the baits was just great. But actually walking up to the stage and watching the setup from ten feet away was like nothing I have ever seen before….other than watching the mates at sea. Of course the difference being that few mates will actually spend time with you to share their secrets. I have been trying to land a sword for seven years and I learned many of the mistakes that I was unknowingly making in both the setup and presentation. I hope 2011 will see my first sword on the deck and on my plate!

If I had the time to get to Long Island I would come again this year just to see the other break out sessions. These are tips that I will use immediately this year. The detail, the way that video was used to present ideas, the level of sophistication of the crowd attending the seminar…..I never learned so much in an eight hour day of education on any subject let alone fishing.
Thank you for you effort, and I can not wait for next year. The investment of time and cash were absolutely worth it. I told my wife Saturday night after the two hour drive home that I already know what I want for Christmas 2011!
I hope to see you out on the water…all the best of catching in 2011!............Tim

    ------------------------------------

    Adam,

Great show Saturday. I was a little skeptical after attending what I would describe as a soft seminar held in AC by a national fishing mag a month ago, but was very happy with your show.

In addition to your team, the 3rd-party guys like Len and Gene were awesome….Peter

    ------------------------------------

    Hi Adam,

I just wanted to let you know, once again The Breakout Sessions were Out Standing very Professional with First Class people. I really enjoyed my friend John Lane, he is the best friend we all need out there,Gene and Brad were Great. Your Capt's are all so very well informed, Mark was Great with the Swords and Mark Debasio really good on rigging. Thank you. My best to you and your family……Charlie

    Hello Canyon Runner:

Just want to let you know my wife and I had a good time at the Seminar Yesterday. Your crew knowledgeable, and spoke well. Gene Quigley, Kilsong, and Basil were very informative on the specific things that we, LInda and I need to refine also. Believe me I have an eye for detail. I am in the marine industry. Thanks again, I am sure we will see you out there.. Billy and Linda

    ------------------------------------

I attended the Canyon Runner Seminar saturday. Great show alot of info. Great way to pass a winter's day and also learn something. Thanks Canyon runner and all the speakers. If you get a chance to attend the one in NY well worth the money.

    ------------------------------------

We also went[to the Canyon Runner Seminer], very good day. Tons of information, cant wait to get out there this year. Did you go to Kil's seminar on tuna jigging/poping? Great day...

    ------------------------------------

i went too [to the Canyon Runner Seminar]. well worth the $ , and Kil's seminar on jiggin poppin was awesome. def. attend NY if you missed the NJ one.

    ------------------------------------

Already looking forward to going again next year Hopefully this year we maybe can manage to put some tuna on the boat. I should have enough knowledge by now

    ------------------------------------

I have been to this seminar twice. It's well worth the price of admission. We only struck out one time on the blue fin grounds last season. We found action every other time even when we lost fish. It was only due to the knowledge gained from these seminars that our fishing improved so much as a crew of amatures. I would say for the information you are exposed to and the volumes of info they send you home with, you would be hard pressed to find a better seminar anywhere. A sincere thanx to the canyon runner crew for letting it all hang out. Your reputation as the best is well deserved! Good luck this seminar season and may the tuna gods bless you down south.

    ------------------------------------

    Adam,
good luck with the seminar, I will be out of town for this one, but from the looks of it, this is going to be the best one.

For those of you out there thinking about this, I highly recommend this, this is money well spent for Offshore Fishing knowledge, with this lineup of pro's. Canyon Runner Captain's & crew will share their hard earned knowledge, they will not disappoint!. The other guys there are the best around as well, if you like jigging, don't miss Kil's seminar!!!! - It's amazing to hear what he has learned targeting Medium - Large & Giant Bluefin Tuna - also Yellowfin - as big as they get. He has even bagged a Swordfish or two with jigs.

You have many Sponsors presenting there as well, like Capt Len Belcaro - Basil Pappas, Atlantis Propeller, Capt John Oughton, ( who wears out the fish here and in the Keys - trust me on that) and others ( sorry if I missed)

I have attended three of these Canyon Runner Seminars and I learn alot of new things each time I attend. In our sport, I listen very closely to the guys who are out there all the time, as I do not have that luxury of time at sea these guys put in out there - each and every year. Best part is, Canyon Runner Seminars have all the bases covered - everything.

With the high cost of our sport - including fuel and the fact you need to be prepared for anything out there, I consider this the best money I spend each year for Offshore fishing, the things you learn are invaluable and put more fish on the deck.

    Captn Joe

The seminar this weekend in Atlantic City, NJ with Capt. Adam LaRosa and the rest of the Canyon Runner team was a GREAT success!

    1. Capt. Mark DeBlasio will be showing you a couple of our trick rigging techniques that we’ve never shown before including – Stick-bait mackerel rigs & horse ballyhoo for giants.

    2. John Lane from Forked River Diesel will be showing you field maintenance techniques to get you home from offshore if you have engine issues – this alone is worth the price of admission and then some.
