One last quick update for our final Canyon Runner Seminar of 2008. We will be in Newport this Saturday, April 26 for our fourth Canyon Tuna/Marlin/Swordfish Seminar this year. With over 1,000 people through the doors already this year including hundreds of folks who been with us year after year they all agreed that this years Seminar was far and away the best yet. We will have 8 separate breakout topics on Saturday with 5 brand new ones for this year so if you’ve been with us before you have plenty of new information to pick up.

Now for the update on our new Regulator – all I can say is it was totally unbelievable. I’ve never gone 40 knots on the water before and Saturday I blew past that on my way to 53 knots. The 32 Regulator with the 350 Yamahas is a totally different beast than anything Regulator has put on the market before and has to be experienced to believe. It is now sitting at Clark’s Landing in Pt. Pleasant, NJ and we will start fishing it as soon as we are back for Newport – we can’t wait!!!!!

For the record .. it was 53.4 kts with 5 people aboard. What a ride !!!! I am looking foward to running this rig in the tournaments when speed can make a diffference... what ireally liked is the way the wake looked at trolling speed .. this boat is going to kill some giants next winter

Hey Mark - before we start worrying about the giants don't forget the two big tuna tournaments in Ocean City and Cape May.

Should be fun with you, me and Brad chasing those 150-200 pound bluefins during the tournament season. Hopefully we are lucky enough to snag a couple.
