It’s not often but every once in a while we need to reach out to the fishing community and see if there is anyone interested in joining our team. That time is now.

What we are looking for is someone to start from the ground up as a part time second mate. This means we only need you during the late spring and summer months - so a college student would be perfect. You’ll average just over one canyon trip per week so you should get in 12-15 overnighters before going back to school since we start canyon fishing in early June. The rest of the time you'll be working on cleaning, boat maintenance and tackle. We DO NOT require any offshore experience at all – in fact the less the better. We’ll teach you everything you’ll ever want to know.

What we do require, and what we can’t teach, is a very friendly and outgoing personality and the ability to work 30 hours straight without sleep for very little pay if you calculate it out by the hour. (Sounds fun doesn’t it!!!) Of course since the boats are in Pt. Pleasant, NJ during the summer months you’ll need to be local to the area.
