Canyon Runner 3rd Annual FREE Military Canyon Trip + Other Great Organizations to Support

Sorry for putting this post up everywhere but I need to get it out to as many people as possible as quickly as possible to give all those that qualify for this FREE canyon trip a chance to get in on it.

For those that are unaware Canyon Runner Sport Fishing has been running a FREE canyon trip the last two years on the 4th of July to honor our War Heros. Last year’s trip got switched to a shark trip due to bad weather but 5 great men – great soldiers – great Veterans got out to fish with us for FREE. In addition, they were feed well by Lane Lehroff who donated all the food for trip and drank well due to Andrew Joyce who donated the beverages.

Well in 2010 we are doing it again!!! We are offering a FREE overnighter on our 48 Canyon Runner with Capt. Mark DeBlasio at the helm. The FREE trip will leave our dock in Pt. Pleasant, NJ on July 3rd and return on July 4 just in time for fireworks.

To be eligible for the trip all you need to do (which is more than most people, including me, will ever be able to stand tall and say we did) is to have served our great nation in the field of battle in any war at any time – past or present. I can’t thank you enough for all you’ve sacrificed for our Great Nation – but I can take you fishing!!!!

Many thanks to Adam and the CR crew. I sent him a note last year on the offer and I was #7 or 8. When it got close to the forth Adam called me to ask if I could go as he had some guys cancel out. Although I had already made a commitment that I tried dearly to get out of and could not make it I was truly impressed by Adam and him trying desperately to pull this trip together at the last minute.
