    Canyon Runner 2008 Seminar Series

    Atlantic City, NJ - January 19**Long Island, NY - March 29**Annapolis, MD - April 13**Newport, RI - April 26, 2008
    __________________________________________________________________________________________________
Canyon Runner Sport Fishing’s mission from day-one has always been the same - put people on fish. Whether our charters, someone reading our latest article, or a guy reading our latest fishing report - if we help one person catch one more tuna we’ve succeeded. We’ve taken that to the next level in designing the most in-depth, detailed, and informative tuna, marlin and swordfish Seminar ever. Testimonials from the 3000+ participants in the last three years confirm this. But we always know there is room for improvement.

So this year, we’re going to focus on much more advanced methods and techniques to locate, hook, and land tuna, marlin, and swordfish. In addition, we have added 5 brand new breakout session topics. In total, we will offer 9 detailed hands-on breakout session topics. We’ve also added a 5th breakout session – one more 45-minute session than last year. Our 2008 Seminar Series can only be described as follows: “2008 – Going Beyond the Basic!!!!!”

New for 2008 will be 5 brand new hands-on breakout session topics focused on 1) Small Boat - Offshore Fishing with Canyon Runner Team Regulator; 2) Using Electronics to Locate Big Game with Northstar; 3) Advanced Swordfishing Tactics; 4) Jigging Tuna and Utilizing Spectra and Top-shots with Basil Pappas from BHP Tackle; and, 5) Offshore Safety with Viking Rafts. In addition, our most popular breakout session will return including Dennis Braid from Braid Tackle presenting breakout sessions on fighting big fish on stand-up tackle. Capt. Len Belcaro from Offshore Satellite Services will discuss analyzing offshore eddies and temperature breaks. You will continue to get your hands dirty rigging ballyhoo for tuna but we’ve added rigging split bill ballyhoo and circle hook rigs to this breakout session. Finally, you will learn to set up for chunking as if you were in our cockpit with demonstrations on rigging several different types of baits.

You’ll receive our 100+ page slide presentation and our detailed log book for the past 4-years with loran numbers, baits, and lures that produced best on every trip. You’ll be given our canyon checklist covering everything you need before heading to the deep. Finally, you’ll be provided every single article we’ve written. Most importantly, you’ll be an integral part of the Seminar. Your questions will guide the focus of our analysis. The show won't end until each and every question is answered.

We’ll have over $7,500+ in door prizes including our grand prize – a $2,000 gift certificate towards Canyon Runner Outfitters tackle plus a free sword trip down in Miami. Additional door prizes include Penn rods and reels, Momoi Fishing Line, Berkley line, Pelagic Gear, Sevenstrand tackle, Globalstar Satellite Phones, Hydro Glow Lights, equipment donated by the RFA, BHP Tackle, J&B Tackle, Fisherman Supply, Deep Sea Outfitters, The Big Game Fishing Journal/Offshore Satellite Services, Northstar and Regulator. We will also have a FREE continental breakfast and FREE snacks and coffee throughout the day.

Now - what is this worth? What is having your best canyon season ever worth? We have heard back from hundreds of attendees of our 2005, 2006, & 2007 Seminar and guess what – the season after attending our Seminar was their best season ever!!! Check out the 30+ pages of testimonials on our website to see for yourself.

The 2008 Seminars will be held at the Sheraton Convention Center Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ on January 19, the Huntington Hilton in Long Island, NY on March 29, the Annapolis Double Tree in Annapolis, MD on April 13 and the Newport Hyatt in Newport, RI on April 26. Thanks!

This will be my third year and I learn something new each year. Since we run a 26FS Regulator w/twin 250's I'm looking forward to seeing how you guys set up your new 32 Classic Regulator.

Maybe you guys can enter the Contender/Regulator Shoot Out and finally put Regulator on top!
