I thought Bruce did a very good jop with his breakout on fishing for big fish in small boats. the only probelm was the session could of been twice as long, as he had alot of info to share. Also Lenny's session on charts was very good as well.
Canyon Runner Seminar:
Attended my 2nd seminar this past weekend, good stuff as expected. The breakout session with Basil Pappas (rigging spectra and top shots) was very good. Capt. Mark DeBlasio gave a great presentation on efficiently using electronics to find fish, throwing in some examples from his giant bluefin season this year. Len Belcaro's talk about temperature breaks was presented well. From rigging ballys, swordfishing, stand-up fishing, to chunking techniques, its all there. The viking safety raft/gear guys also were first class.
Even if you are a seasoned veteran or a newbie to the game, your sure to come away with something new.
This was my first Canyon Runner seminar and I was definately not dissapointed. Impressed would be the word I use. I attended the Electronics, Stand up fighting, Temp Breaks, Swordfishing and Small boat breakout sessions and took something away from every one. No secrets held back from these guys. They kept the sessions moving right along !.....I will be using some of their tips this season for sure.....Great job Canyon Runner...hope to have more days like THIS because of your semincar !...Bob
