Canyon Report for 8/25 to 8/26

Lets start by saying wow! one word sums it up.
we left hoffmans at 1pm with the whole crew having high hopes. This trip include the norm of Dan myself and tyler with (2) new guys Cris And Jerry.we got out to the deep @3:30 and went right onto the troll. (we were anxious to see Mr. EYEBALL) But he never did come.

So onto the chunk, we layed up in around 500ft of water and were hoping for the best. with nothing going on the answer of did we pick the right spot came to mind. then it starts,BAM! we get a screamer but is a nice bull dolphin. (best for the year).
then its game on!!!! drop and reel for the next 3 hours. what a great night. all the fish were 65 ++++ lb range and man they were the meanist we've seen all year.
we had a sword swim thru the hydraglow and also had Mr mako give us a air show in the dark. we hooked into this buety and man what a show.
First jump: right off the corner of the boat (even splashed us)
second jump: looked us all in the eyes all we saw were teath
third and final jump: over the port motor and landing at the starbord.
She finaly said that was enough and parted the 80 floro with little effort.
But wow! what a show....
Sorry for no photos but the camera is now on the frits...(going to get a new one now)
So i have it for my sick day tomorrow (i have a tuna fever ) leaving at 9am from manasquan. we will be on chanel 65.

Wow thanks, I might take you up on that one day. Always wanted to do a canyon run on a speedster Just can't swing it this week

I'm still debating about the mrmtc... I've done well in it the last few years, but the leave at midnight deal doesn't fit my schedule this year
