Double D .. the graphighters are awesome .. i love my 760h .. in fact i am currently re-wrapping it with a nice butt wrap. My personal preference is E-glass over composite and the Boomer series is a 2X action .. it has a very fast taper which gives you a light tip with a lot of backbone when you hook a good fish .. dont trade in your graphighters, but look into a Boomer if you are building a new one .

I was thinking a total length of 5 1/2 to 6 feet in length. It would be my first of this kind. mainly dealt with fly rods. So no matter what I do it will involve a lot of swearing and messed up parts.

Never tell a tackle junkie there may be something a little better... Guess I'll be building a few more this winter.

Don't mind having the rods laying around, but the friggen reels get expensive. Guess I could build them from the ferrule up and switch the reels...

Thanks for the input
