Calcutta Wahoo Challenge


THE CALCUTTA WAHOO CHALLENGE HAS BEEN POSTPONED
October 21, 2008, Morehead City - Due to the unfortunate severe weather, the Calcutta Wahoo Challenge has been postponed. The Executive Board decided to reschedule the tournament for Wednesday November 5th through Saturday November 8th. Tournament Headquarters is busy rescheduling all the great events and will still have the raffle and the live auction, and all the local restaurants serving dinner under the tent located at Katherine Davis Park across from the Morehead City Waterfront.

Fishing day will be Thursday November 6th, Friday November 7th and Saturday November 8th with Captain's choice of 2 days to fish. The weigh ins start Thursday November 6th at 3:30pm on the Morehead City Waterfront just outside of the new bar "Jack's". Participants will be pulling into the new 6th street city docks to weigh in their Wahoo's.

There has been a flurry of phone calls from the participants and they all agree that the Board of Directors made a wise choice in postponing the event in light of the weather conditions.
