    Cabo San Lucas

    Guys,

Going to Cabo San Lucas in June of next year for my honeymoon. Staying 10 days. Fishing at least two days offshore my girl doesn't mind going if I am having fun. Thats why I am marrying her. A few questions for people who have gone...

    1. What is the best hotel to stay in? I was looking at Dreams Cabo all inclusive. I think it may be away from the city.

    2. Fishing-who is agreat charter captain for a decent price? What do I expect to catch this time of year?

    3. Besides fishing and humping what else is there to do around Cabo?

    4. Is there somewhere else I should go better than Cabo. I think I like Cabo because of the fishing and there are many other things to do on the Baja that sound fun. We are an active couple.

Thanks for all of your help and input!

My first recommendation for place to stay is the Bungalows. We have stayed in many of the resorts, but this is our favorite. It is not on the water, but the Mexican hospitality makes up for it. The family that runs the place will do everything in their power take care of your every need. The rooms are great, the price is right and a fantastic breakfast will be cooked for you every morning you don't fish. (Breakfast starts at 7:00) The website is www.cabobungalows.com

If you want a fancy & beautiful resort in town. Try the Hacienda Beach Club & Residences at Medano Beach. We had dinner there and were awed. Infinity pool, fireplaces, best view in Cabo looking over the Arch, etc. The dinner there was fantastic. Try the Pescado Al Mojo De Ajo (Sea Bass with Garlic Chile Sauce) and the Carnitas (Slow Roasted Pork). Best meal we have had in Cabo.

The best person to fish with is Capt Ramon on the Dream Weaver. He won the Bisbees last year, won the Bisbees East Cape this year and won Day 2 of the Bisbees this year. Reputation as one of the best fisherman in Cabo and speaks english. His website is www.dreamweaversportfishing.com

We don't do much but Fish, Drink and Eat when in Cabo. However, our favorite Bar is the Happy Ending. Our favorite Sports Bar is the Cabo Cantina.

You will have a great time. Good Luck!

Fished with Capt Ceasar w/ Redrum; he was awesome; chased marlin around all day sight casting livies; fished four days with him.

for 450$ its hard to beat

If you want a package check out redrum.com they put us up at del sol, 5 min walk to the docks, the nicest condo I have ever been in and we fished four days offshore on their 28 Californian and its was 1300$ per person including air for four of us.

You can add or subtract fishing days if you want less; but they give you a great deal on the condo.

We caught marlin everyday; only thing you had to pay was license I think was 10$ and we bought extra live bait everyday, for 30$

    cabo

stay on Medano Beach. i stayed there last year and it was great.
Its right in front on the Arc. Awesome night life.--all a short cab right or you can party on the beach. The marina is 5 minutes away. I fished with renegade mike. he was awesome and affordable. he put us on fish and it was (my luck) nasty out. cool guy. I stayed at puebla rose. which was cool but i bought a timeshare at cabo villas which is gorgeous and brand new. there was great snorkling right in front of the resorts across the way on lover's beach. cabo is heaven.
have fun.,.....ps pre book your cab from the hotel. grab your bags when you get off the plan and dont talk to anyone until you get outside---they solicit and lie about your cab. keep going till you see day light!!!!!

    That's a good question?
Stayed at the RUI Palace a few weeks ago and it was fantastic. Great acomodations, top shelf booze, 12$ cab ride to town. About a 45 minute walk down the beach to the marina. We booked the whole trip for 7 days including airfare for $2800.00. If you like the all inclusive deals I would recomend it. We went on the Manta with Hugo and had a blast. It's a big cat sail boat and you go out for about 5 hours snorleling and sight seeing. We put two rods out and caught a nice wahoo and a nice dolphin too. It's docked right at the hacienda dock. Also fished on the Dreamweaver and had a great time. Fell free to shoot me a PM is you have any questions.

That was a sick video. The 912 was nasty. Can't beleive they were just boiling like that right next to the boat.
