For those interested and in Los Cabos, there will be a meeting on Friday night, February 29th, at the NO WORRY'S BAR in Cabo San Lucas that will include at talk by lead counsel for the fight against Nom-029. Ma. Luis Fueyo will update the attendees regarding the progress in defeating Nom-029 and what remains to be done to try and succeed. It starts at 7:00PM and is for fleet owners, captains, deck hands, anglers and anyone else who is interested.

On Saturday night, TBF does it's conservation awards and will also have speakers/info on the importance of conservation of billfish featuring information from the latest socio-economic studies that prove the greater value of released billfish vs. the practice of boating and killing billfish for photos and "bullshit" mounting scams. King's Sailfish Mounts will be on hand to present their conservation efforts and a "reward" program for Captains who encourage clients to release their catch and have a replica mount created for a memento.

At present, about 350 people will be at these events but THE MORE THE BETTER!!!
