    bowling pin chain teaser

Just wondering if any of you billfishers pull a pin chain as a teaser. I saw one the other day and decided to build my own out of some pins that I turned out of wood this weekend. Any thoughts on them?

They are tried and true. Just like most teasers, the ones that work best are the ones you have the most confidence in. Do a search here, there are several threads on bowling pin teasers.

They make great Blue Marlin teasers. I'm not aware of many guys pulling them when targeting tuna and whites. Mostly dredges and daisey chains for them. BP teasers are huge in the Bahamas when guys are expecting to see multiple Blue bites. Just my HO

Hucklebuck's dead on--the pins are great teasers when you're specifically targeting blue marlin. I like the chain that has five or six individual bowling pins in purple/silver/black spots, really looks like a school of skippies or bullet bonito back there in the wash.
