Boat repairs and schoolie bluefin

Went down to the boat last night to prep for a mudhole run, and found 8" of water in the bilge and dead batteries Turns out I left the shore power off after working on the genny and electrical systems last sunday Well, that was incredibly bad timing since my starboard raw water intake developed a nice leak. Thank god I played hooky today, the boat might have not made it to the weekend. Got that and a few other issues squared away and we are good to go.

Ran to the monster ledge and set up on the chunk just after 6. Hooked up right away, 40 pounder in the box. Then it was a bluefish invasion for the next 5 hours. Must have caught 50 with almost as many biteoffs. Finally picked another BF of the same size around 11:30, and headed to the barn shortly after.

It was blowin about 20 out of the south, choppy conditions. Had the whole ledge to myself. Had one friend trolling the area, he picked one early around little italy, then a bunch of false albacore after.

Doug, Nice job on the bluefin. I thought Depo found the problem w/ the genny last week. Did you make sure it was getting something into something?
