Left the dock around 11:30 thursday 9/30/2004
Headed for the canyons not having a clue what to exspect after the blow that came along from the recent hurricain down south.

Headed somewhat north and set off on a troll and picked up a few mahia mahia . Tons of dolphin traveled around big temp breaks but no signs of tuna on the troll .

Captian trey and pete decided we would set up on the chunk at night fall to see if we could raise them up ! After a bit on the chunk we had a quick bit from 3 long fin all around 50 lbs and all in the boat !
Gave it some more time and just realized the bit was not gonna turn on so we moved a canyon south !

During the rest of the night we boated 3 more tuna and lost 3 .
The yellow fin tuna were 20 lb 60 lb and around 70 lbs .
Had a nice one on light tackle that we lost under the boat !

All in all we came home with 9 fish ! Cant complain about that

Again i would like to thank trey from over under for allowing me to rent his boat and give away spot on my site . I think we ended up with a good group of fishermen and one guy who liked to sleep alot

Also if you do not have a group of people to fish with they offer a great service witch is called OPEN BOAT CHARTERS . Email them to get on the list. When they have spots available on the boat they send out a emailing to all the people on the list. This is a great way to meet other fishermen and also learn from alot of other people. I have personaly done a open boat trip with them and it was a blast. Made some new friends aswell ..
