    Blueprinting Old penns?

I have 2 really old penn 50 internationals that I was thinking of sending out to get blueprinted and maybe get converted to 2 speed and get a new power handle on from cals2speed.
Is this worth it? will it really make the reels perform better? or is it better to save my money and buy newer reels?

    Thanks
    J

Blueprinting is only gonna run you about $95.00 each, 2 Speed Conversion adds $200.00 per reel. Cal does a really nice job - I had mone done a few years back - a mix of 30s and 50s - No complaints

If it were me, I'd clean em up good, replace the drag washers, and go fishing.

IF there wides. Fish them. IF you can off load them, buy a new two speed with out lossing your pants. Id do that. But if you cant get a number for the reels send them to cals.
