Thats a fact. My "rant" is not about boat size, because that doesn't matter. To be honest, I would rather fish next to a small boat from up north that fishes respectfully, than next to one from the waterfront that thinks they own the water. It is instead about greed.
90% of the outboard boats out there dont have a clue
All those small CC's, are only good for meeting me in the skinny water to take my fish to the scales and for me to get paid.
James,
with your post! you can make it 91%

There are some good CC's and small boats, but then along comes the CC with a Hooters wrap on the side of it, out trying to commercial fish couple of years ago. What a joke. So there are some exceptions to all the rules.
I guess that CC boat with the sponsored tourney wrap falls right in there with the category of folks that just need to stick to tournament and recreational fishing. Blasting through the inlet and slot at 35knots.Not trying to derive a minimum amount of income, just trying to take as much as they can.
hey why cant i come down in my 16ft whaler montauk and try to do it with a 50w and a bunch of straight gaffs.. something wrong with that!!>!>
