For your information, some of the best fisherman that I've had the pleasure to know and to fish with run cc's. Not everyone on a cc is going to run over your fish or your spread. Not all, but more than a few, of the sportfisher's up there show absolutely no respect for someone in a cc. Can you tell me why the larger boats demand respect from the cc's when they don't show it to them?

It's not the size of your boat that matters but the way in which you use it.

Thats a fact. My "rant" is not about boat size, because that doesn't matter. To be honest, I would rather fish next to a small boat from up north that fishes respectfully, than next to one from the waterfront that thinks they own the water. It is instead about greed.

All those small CC's, are only good for meeting me in the skinny water to take my fish to the scales and for me to get paid.

    James,
with your post! you can make it 91%

My point exactly. Believe it or not , there are plenty of guys running center console's that are as good of fisherman as most anyone running a sportfisher. Bunker, it's attitude's like yours that give professional crews undeserved bad reps.

Tell us alittle about yourself. I run a twin engine OUTBOARD boat. What do I do wrong? Thats a pretty bold first post. I would like to think that I may be in that 10% of guys who have a clue.

There are some good CC's and small boats, but then along comes the CC with a Hooters wrap on the side of it, out trying to commercial fish couple of years ago. What a joke. So there are some exceptions to all the rules.

I guess that CC boat with the sponsored tourney wrap falls right in there with the category of folks that just need to stick to tournament and recreational fishing. Blasting through the inlet and slot at 35knots. Not trying to derive a minimum amount of income, just trying to take as much as they can.
