    What I heard

A few guys I know got out earlier this week or last weekend after the season closed and did hear of any bites at least by the few that tried. This surprised me somewhat as I thought after the cold weather passed the GBT would be around in decent numbers along and the light boat traffic it might have produced some real good fishing. Possibly others that I did not talk to0 did better as I only know a few that tried for a while and then went bottom fishing.

We tried last weekend out of MHC on Fri, and Sat.. trolled all day from around 6am- 4pm.. Not a nibble.. Called and talked to the local tackle shop... Nothing....
Checked fishing reports and saw they had a few out of OI.. Not giants by any means, but good fish around #150 or so..
maybe they are moving up north again...
Let us know if you find them...
