    bluefin tuna

    does anyone know the best tempature's for bluefin tuna and for yellowfin tuna.

    The actual ranges vary a lot. However, if I had to only pick one number for each it would be:

    BFT - 63
    YFT - 73

    That being said I have caught BFT from 58 all the way up to 73, so there are no absolutes.

    The bluefins are in the 20-30 fathoms off oc now, it was 64 degree at the hotdog sunday.
    Deep off the poormans its 68 degree,, should be a YFT in there summers.(somewhere). now we just need a forecast!
