Bluefin Time on the That's Right

Today was a good day as we were forced to adjust our plan

The weather was somewhat of an issue today and the That’s Right stayed in closer to Ocean City inlet today and it turned out that was a blessing

Stopped on the Bluefin humps looking for a bluefin tuna instead of pushing off to the canyons. We managed a really nice once that measured out at 59 inches and 117lbs back at the dock. The yellowfin ended up being in a mix around the bluefin grounds and Capt John put two nice 40lb yellowfin tuna into the ice and missed 2 more. He also caught a couple gaffer Mahi Mahi aka dolphin fish. So today was a nice mix

We have been really blessed this year, The fishing has been outstanding

It seemed that those that made it to the canyons found some Marlin but struggled on the tuna.

Is it just me or does that tuna on the right resemble the tuna in the middle?

Just wondering, this is not a reach or anything. Are you rounding the number up, or just have a different interpretation of the reg's because I read it as less than 59 inches, meaning 59 would be too large, but I'm also extra careful and always very concerned with regulation as I get stopped every time I'm running past the bridge coming back to the dock. This is the 5th or 6th report I have heard with 59" fish so I'm assuming I'm just being to picky.

Just seeing what the input was.

They both look about the same size to me in the fourth picture! Very healthy.

Scratchinbottom- not sure if you meant maybe the fish on the right was a bluefin as well- it isn't, but even if it was charter boats are allowed an over 47 and an under 47- 2 total per day.
