This report is BS for the simple fact that i spoke to several comm longliners after reading this report and all of them have said there is not a single boat up that way or for that matter have been for close to 2 weeks.maybe this character should learn the difference between a lobster pot buoy and longline gear, and please tell us the weather out there that day tunakiller how was it?

This is the biggest bunch of horsecrap I've ever read online.

It's not funny - it's freaking irresponsible. No one should ever run offshore based on an internet report, but if this even helped influence someone to make a long run to the hudson in late November - you're a jerk.

btw- anyone that gets three 130's spooled in one day, doesn't know what the heck they're doing anyway (I don't think its ever happened to anyone, anywhere).

Take this garbage to the hull truth - some dork there might believe you.

Not cool to post this kind of crap. Got to agree with the guy that mentioned it could get a few boats offshore in search of 1000lb mako's and 300lb bluefin in rough seas. Not worth the joke. 23 fish caught? For those of us that have caught more then one couple hundred lb bluefin, one, at most 2 in a day are more then enough to tire out any angler on any gear. Unless this guy had 23 anglers. . .had his 130's set at 10lbs of drag and only put 300 yards of dacron on his 50w. . .my guess is he was probably working on his engines and inhaled too many fumes. Fun story, but I give it ZERO chance of being real. Not to mention seas on Thanksgiving were 12-16 feet on the shelf!!!! If I remember correctly. I know in South Jersey you couldn't break the inlet if you wanted too.

I don't like false reports from charters or private parties

Maybe this guy can provide pics or video? Prove everyone wrong.
