The water right now in Hudson is 51-53 degrees. Can anyone honestly say they have ever seen a Mako in water that cold?

Alright that got me very aroused!!!
Don't tell me that was all crap? Was it?![]()
If memory serves me correct There was a Gale warning up that day.
This report sounds about as credible as the olivia grace in a shark tournament
Dunno guys - Veterans Day just east of Chatham we had em going great guns. Knew they were on the move but the water temp was an honest 48-49 degrees and forget the air temp.
A big Mako can tolerate a lot of stuff and forage is one thing they will go after
Don't understand why he was getting spooled as those are great fish but definelty not enough to spool you..that 50 alone should a had a kilo of line on it and no 300 pound fish is gonna dump a 130

I really hope this is true. A report like this could get someone headed out there. The canyons aren't the safest place this time of year. just think if someone heads out based on this report and gets into trouble and the report was BS. Let's see some proof or atleast a reply.
