Bluefin Jigging INSUFISHENTFUNDS

Fished this morning dispite the small craft warnings and 3-5 foot seas. we left at 6:00am and were jigging by 7:15. we were hooked up on the first drop. we ended up going 4 for 7 with one fish going 80lb. i just recieved my new set of jigging rods from Paul at JPR and i gotta tell ya for the price they are the best you can buy and you definately can not beat the craftsmanship. finally we picked up at 10:30 and ran home in 5 to 7 foot seas at 30 knots and never came out of the water or slammed. every day that 39 venture impresses me beyond me expectations............

Nice report!! I think we'll be fishing up there tomorrow since the weather doesn't want us to run 50-60 miles offshore down south.

Gotta love jigging the BFTs.

Dang, I was headed that way yesterday, but an electrical issue kept us inshore.

congrats on the fish, very nice but to be honest that boat of yours over shadows the fish hahah. Paul makes a great rod.
