Heres a pretty cool diving story I found about freediving for Bluefin.

I saw a monster Bluefin off Hatteras about 4 years ago while diving, I had a speargun in hand, but NO WAY was I gonna shoot that monster.

Still an interesting story.... I have respect for anyone who is willing to spear something that big...

Thats very very very cool. Pacific BFT's none the less.

I can't wait until next season. Gonna use my dive skills to spear some mahi at the high flyers.

We tie off to the boat not a bouy,,,we cheat,,but we don't loose fish once we shot them
