Blue Sharks!!!!

Left the dock this morning with high hopes of gettin a Mako. First ten miles were fog!! Less than 1/4 mile visibility. Then the 2-3 footers forcasted had 2 footers on top of them! Lousy boat ride. Set up Se of the Jack spot and ended up catching 16 blue sharks no Makos!! My grandson caught his first shark so it was not all bad! Oh well we have next week to try again. Just have to buy a bunch of new hooks and rerigg!

The blue sharks are thick- no doubt about it- good going on your day.

I am going crazy not giving my report from yesterday- but it was not my boat, so the privilege belongs to Snowranger- i am sure it will be up soon.

Congrats to your grandson on what i am sure will be the first of many!!

Brad- don't hijack this thread with it, but I talked to your dad tonight and heard about the problem- maybe you should start a thread and tell how it went down and what you guys did- cool heads prevailed and you guys prevented a disaster- good work. Others could benefit from your bad luck. And good going on all the sharks before the problem.
