Blue marlin Pics from Yesteday

The Blue we caught yesterday didn't do much to allow us to take many pictures but we did get to snap a few. This fish was caught yesterday out front and a little south of Hatteras in 100 fathoms on a blue and white ilander/bally combo on an 80 in the left long rigger position. Fight time was twenty-five minutes in a mostly up/down tug of war. We fished on the Pelican.

Congrats on the pretty fish. at least you were able to get a few good shots.

I'll be running out of broad creek on Saturday and Sunday and turning south. Was there a good portion of the fleet headed that way, or were they trying to grab the tunas? We were planning on running to ~250 line - is everybody else running further?
