A big hello to all of you,

I first want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH for getting back to us as fast as you did. We received answers from over 80% of you within a couple of hours, and many more shortly there after.

Sooooo, without further adieu, the official decision is:

We are not going to be fishing tomorrow (Wednesday), and are planning to begin fishing on Thursday. The storm track and intensity is getting better by the hour, and as of now we are as confident as one can be that this will be the case.

Although our current rules state we will not extend our fishing days beyond the scheduled days, 97% of you said you were able to fish on Saturday, so IF the port is open on Thursday, our tournament fishing days will be Thursday, Friday AND Saturday. WE WILL GET OUR THREE DAYS AFTERALL! If the port remains closed on Thursday, we will have a Friday and Saturday two day fishing schedule.

This decision was made with the unanimous support of our Rules Committee.

At the 6:00 pm captain’s meeting this evening we will announce the actual fishing hours for Saturday. They will be abbreviated slightly in order to still have an awards presentation Saturday evening.

Remember that today’s REGISTRATION IS INSIDE THE SHOPPING MALL and opens at 12:00 noon.

Thank you all once again, it looks like once all of this weather is past us we’ll be in for some well deserved nice weather…and hopefully the fish will be snapping!
