I has the pleasure of fishing with Josh this summer on the D.A Sea. I met him while down in O.C and i started watching him rig baits. From there i was invited during the MA500 to ride on the bridge with Robbie, who is the best Billfish captain i have ever fished with. I learned a heck of a lot this summer thanks to Josh Ruskey, Jon Meade, Jonny Duffie, Wayne Blanks to mention a few. I feel very lucky to be able to say i fished with Josh. He is definately top notch.
Could you imagine if Duffie and Josh teamed up. It would be the greatest fishing tag team ever. Man, those billfish would not know whats coming. Josh and Duffie on the bridge, look out.

Doug,
Good point about giving credit when billfishing, a good day offshore is not due to "just" the captain. It takes a team effort and Dominic Disanto earned every penny of his pay in the pit that September day when the white decided to join the crew. There were two anglers, Jeff Lessen, the owner of the Legasea, and Pat Curry. Josh certainly enjoyed chaulking up the number of releases, however I beleive his real pleasure came from watching the crew get soaked while backing down!
Also, congratulations to Dave on his Slam today in Costa Rica!
