    Bill Collector

Capt. Stephen Draughon & mate Capt. Wade Fickling have had a busy 3 weeks with the billfish. They've caught 6 blues, 2 whites, and a sail over this short period. Had 2 days where they released 2 blue marlin and had 1 day where they caught 1 blue and 1 sail. They've seen another small hand full of blues to boot. This ain't bad knowing that April and May have for the most part been blown out and they've sat tight at the dock!!! Not to take any attention away from the other boats in Morehead and Hatteras, but these guys are on to it. I know several other boats from the Hatteras fleet have probably caught 4, 5, 6 blues over the last month but that's expected!!! Many boats reported seeing 2, 3, and up to 5 blues per trip over the last month in Hatteras and Morehead....time to go!!!! Building up for a good Big Rock!!!!

Those boys are setting the benchmark for the rest of us. Even though I don't fish Marlin on my Charters on my 26 CC. I am setting aside a few days next week to do some fun fishing and hopefully land a couple Blue ones. We had our share of Big BFT this winter with the Bigger one's wieghting 500lb, 550lb and 650lb whole wieght. So I know the boat can handle the action. Capt Ken

The next bite on a jig.
I happen to notice this video on Youtube, back when nobody was catching anything. I'll give those boys one thing, they are not afraid to go where they live. One day in the 200's, the next up in the 000's.

Best boat/crew i've ever been on/with. If there's a better crowd on the East Coast, I'd be afraid to see how they fish.

They had a double header on....pulled the hook on the bigger fish (500 lbs?) and caught the 350 lbr. Missed a bigger fish later on......
