BIG Thresher Gets Away...

Both THATS RIGHT and JUSTIFIED were out Sharking today. Capt. Todd battled an enormous Thresher for 3.5 hours, they had some debate about killing it, not killing it boatside, gun/gaff, might be record??? all those sorts of things. anyway, apparantly it straighten a gaff and ended up swimiing away. I guess it's all on video, hopefully I'll be able to share at some point.

Justified's been on quite a roll, catching about 7 makos the last couple days, THAT RIGHT was also out today and killed on in the mid 100's..lots of others action with dusky/blacktip/bluesharks etc. recently also. ..Anthony said they saw a 15' Great White swim by the boat....

Sound pretty good to me....

Tomorrow, with reports of Bluefin starting to roll in, TR goes off on its first tuna trip, while Justified is back on the Shark Grounds.

Thanks for the report. They straight gaffed a big shark? Wonder why? Lot's of big threshers around this year Hoping to get my shot Wednesday before the Oc shark tourny cuz we are looking for big mako's only.
