Hey JUstin I went there graduated in 97. I was one the originals to hunt those tarpon and snook. We didn't have the fish cleaning area there when I was there, but I did somewhat the same thing in St Thomas. Use anything they are used to eating fish scraps mostly chunk up some bait then throw a hook on one and hold on. I now the Island has changed a lot in the 12 years I have been gone have you tried the cove way out on the end toward Nieves all the way around to the right past the rocks. If the wind was blowing hard off the Caribean the bait and tarpon jacks etc would crowd into that right hand side it's deep off those rocks. Early am you could allso see them in shallow I know Friars and the beach across the street have changed but that was a nice early morning spot too. I

That was easier then I thought Google earth
It was Majors bay and out towards the end was Crabs Hole( I don't think it had a name then) That area out there was awesome Nice reef with a deep drop also a good spot for sharks. Then on the other side of that point Green Point out past Ballast bay. Tough to get too but real nice We would actually swim around to get there from Ballast Bay .

Those are some kick ass pictures i bet the island was even more beautiful then. Thanks for the help its takin a year to learn what i know so far this helps out alot. and you said that the bait and tarpon etc... pile in majors/crab hole when theres a nice wind off the Caribbean side, when is green point "alive". One more thing what kind of bait did you use? float/bottom?
Thanks again
