    BIG SHARK OCMD

Capt. Mark Sampson has not lost his touch. Saw him throw up a 640 Mako today. Caught on a circle hook with a blocker rig. Way to go Mark!!!

Took 3 hours to catch and jumped a bunch of times. Not sure where he was fishing, but if I know him he wasn't past the 20.

That's a fine, big female mako in prime shape. A great catch. For those who have never seen them do it, imagine that beast "pogo stick" jumping ten or fifteen feet or more into the air! You'll never forget it once you've seen it.

If in fact the fish was caught in 20f what on earth was it doing there? I would suspect there had to be bluefin around she was munching on! Really awesome looking fish. Let us know if Mark gives up any info on the catch Franky.

Best year I've seen in years. Reminds me of when boats were made of wood.

I've never seen it in person, but, the thought of that beast launching 10'-15' in the air near the boat, I'd need to change my shorts. Congrats to Capt'n, crew and angler, one heck of a catch!!!
