Big Rock Report

cdail28590,HotRodMarlin and Myself,Fished on a new 42ftr. for the Rock last wk with Randy(owner) and George(captain),out of Orange Beach,AL.We fished Mon/tue/fri/sat.Each day we caught a few mahi with our biggest around 25lbs. nothing to brag about.On tues. we raised a white right behind the dredge but couldn't hook him up on the drop back bait. And saw a Lg. Blue swimming around also on tuesday trolled the area pretty hard but no takers.Fri. it was quite snotty and we hooked into something with some size as it peeled off about 150 yds.@24lbs of drag,we fought it for about 20 mins and got it within about 30yds of the boat when the hook pulled. Don't know what it was but it was hefty,thinking a lg hoo or tuna.Finished out the tourney sat with our usual catch of mahis but no bills,all in all had a blast met a bunch of new people and got to fish all wk.Life is good.I'm gonna have to resize pics before posting hope to have them up after I get back later

Bud it's better to be on the water FISHING than to be in the office! I am sure you guys gave it your all and had fun while doing it.

Great pictures and take another week off for all the hard work that you all put in and fish some more. That always makes me feel better!
