The Assegai '55 'Askari' and Hardcore gamefishing team have won the Lizard Island Black Marlin Classic with 16 tags with 3 Black Marlin Cap't Corey Hard estimated over 900lbs and one thumper at 1100lbs est. Its looking like an exceptional season for Cairns, Australia this year with lots a fish around and quite a few granders lurking off the Great Barrier Reef. There were 12 fish tagged est. over 900lbs in the tournament.
