Big Game Fishing in Brasil - October to November

Hello fisherman and friends,

October was slow for the Blue Marlin this year. Water temperature was still cool for here. We raised a few Blues but no bites. The white marlin were here, Bruno Vicintin raised 12 in two days and released two, one around 100 lbs. Then it got a lot better.

The 29th of October Carlos Zanferrari and friends from São Paulo fished for one day. They raised two Blues and hooked up to a 900 lbs Blue marlin after one hour and 15 minute he had the marlin to the boat, later they hooked a 500 lb Blue but pulled the hook after 10 minutes.

The 2nd of November Semenenko and Schulyagin from the Ukraine were here for five days of fishing. The first day they raised 5 Blues, had three bites but no luck staying hooked. The next day they raised six Blues and had four bites. They released a Blue around 200 lbs, later they hooked a nice Blue unfortunately the fish came to the boat dead, it weighed 588 lbs. Within a few minute of trolling he hooked an 800 lbs plus Blue but pulled the hook after 15 minute. The next day they raised two Blues caught one around 250 lbs. Day four they raised five Blues, had three bites, caught two around 200 and 250 lbs. The last day they raised 12 Blues had four bites and caught o! ne around 200 lbs.

The water temperature is still cool for this time of year, so I’m expecting very good fishing into December, as you can see the fish are here once again, lots of small males and the larger females with them.

For the last minute bookers; we have still available:
December: 8th, 10th to 13th, 16th to 27th and 29th to 30th.
January: 13th to 23rd and 27th to 31st.

Tight lines to all.
Capt Shawn Wallace.
