idiotic is an understatement. this guy was offering anything and everything just for someone to take him fishing. sounds like he is flat out desparate! why would he be begging for someone to take him fishing if he has a 30 some foot express i just dont understand if he is this first class deckhand/captain he would not have to beg for a ride - he would be hired to catch people fish. my guess is that sportfishingusa can not even tell the difference between blue water and pea green water. i would bet that he has never even been out of the inlet before. the only place he is comfortable is behind the computer where he thinks he has friends - and it stress thinks

There was something earlier in this thread about shallow water swordies- Joey on the Hard Head told me that he saw a free jumping pup swordie in 25 fathoms yesterday.

Yup Franky - John Rogers caught a swordie on an overnighter in 30 fathoms last week.

I always laugh my ass off when people try to equate post numbers to knowledge! That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard! So is the most knowledgeable and respectable member the one with the most posts? Some people have thousands of posts without ever giving out any useful information.

if you were him would you post pics??? i would not.

this entire thread is unfortunate. a guy catches a few nice fish and it turns out that they may not be what they were originally thought to be. at this point he cant win either way - catch 22. everyone just keeps talking about it because the fishing is so bad and they have nothing better to do - me included! once the yellows show up this thread will disappear.

I see this thread and it gets me wondering where the hell SFC is. I feel like I'm reading some dribble from THT or TF or some other schlock site. God damnit! I hate dog pile on the rabbit shit and this is no exception. This site isn't one of those other places that are home to a bunch of malcontent jealous pricks who can't let a guy have a good day without pissing on it.
For the new guys here doing that. Its not tolerated by our policing force being ourselves... For the old timers here that are doing it shame the f*** on you. For those that have congratulated the man on his fine catch I commend you and thank you.
For those doing the speculating about the identity. Gte off that "if it hasn't happened to me it can't happen bullshit soap box. I wasn't on board but if some one tells me they had big eyes in the trunk or claw or glory, though rare it can and does happen. Ihave absolutely no reason to doubt the man and certainly have no right to piss on his good day. All kinds of stuff happens out there that is rare. Inshore swords. A big blue marlin was hooked in Ambrose channel last year. A tuna was takne on the southern ave bridge in West Palm a few years back six miles from the ocean by a guy looking to catch a snook. Good shit sometimes happens. Be happy for the one it happened to instead of a venomous prick.
Now clean up the crap...!
