Big Eye at Indian River 7/3/07

Yesterday a 209LB Big Eye Tuna was brought in to Indian River Marina. The fish was caught at the 461 on the boat "Rock On". Congrats to the crew on their big tuna.

Yes, it was a nice fish. I heard it took 4 hours on an 80 wide standup!

    Congrats that's a nice fish!

    Tim,
We were out on tue and had a nice one on guessing 150+ on a jet bar and the main line on the bar let lose! We had 2 bites that day & the second never came tight!

I have such a tough time ID'ing tuna sometimes... most of the time it's obvious, but sometimes it isn't...that one to me looks like it could be a bluefin...is it the length of the pec fin that you look at to make this ID? (I realize we can't see the eye, so that probably makes it obvious if it were in the picture)
