that would be FREAKISHLY big for a dolphin, and would shatter the existing world record of 90lbs..i'd love to see it
I agree, and we all know how fish can grow as the story is passed. I'm sure if anywhere near 100, it will show up on here at some point.
My guess would be that this is talking about Dennis Braid's Dolphin he caught last year. There is an email circulating or something. Here is a link to some info about that fish.
If there was one caught at 135lbs...it would SHATTER the old record.

I recieved this photo from Darrell at Ballyhood Lures on 2-17. The Dolphin was reported as 112 Lbs. No info as to where it was caught. The name in the title of the image is Steven Hoffer. I assume he was the angler.
I don't have any additional info. However, if true, a Hell of a catch and a sure World Record!!

I've seen the photos and story of that monster, yes shame it wasn't weighed. The report I heard was definately from Bamahas and caught in the past two weeks, just don't know if it was really a record fish, or an exagerated story by the time I heard it.
That's Dennis Braid's dolphin caught in Panama, I just happen to know both Dennis and Steve Hoffer and can tell the difference!
I have heard rumors of a big dolphin caught off Bimini, but not seen any pictures of it.
I heard again from a second source, but possibly through the same original source, big Bahama dolphin, potentential world record? Guess only time will tell?
This SAME topic with the SAME photo of Dennis Braids dolphin caught off Panama has been posted on every major fishing forum in the past couple of weeks. Its old news. Dont know where or who started the Bahamas rumor, but wow has it spread!!!
