Wasn't True Grit's winning white during the WMO this year caught inshore??

40 fathoms...loaded with 4.5 pounds of fresh shrimp and lots of $$$$$ signs.
They pulled up short when they dinged a prop and hit something on the morning run out! At least thats the way I heard it.....

Myself, like alot of other flounder fishermen, have all had some undersize fish swallow a hook, and the only thing u can do is cut the line as close u can. If u just RIP it out, then its dead, but the chances of it living are slim, its just the way it goes.

Congrats on the fish guys. Never seen a white that big. It was legal and if you want to stick it, then stick it. Good job.

nice fish i am glad to see that it didn't go to waste,more fish die after being released when j-hooks are used than alot of people realize and they just sink to the bottom
