    BFT report!

Had the Jim Wagner party out yesterday for some Bluefin action at Masseys. Left the dock at 4 am sharp and headed off! Within 2 hrs we set the anchor and within mins. had the first fish on using the Butterfly system but the hook pulled at the boat. Then the chunk bite started 20 mins after that. And we had a pretty steady bite till 10 am. We ended the day with 3 fish, a 46¾ a 49" and a 50½ in fish. And we were back at the dock by 1 pm. So if your heading out there get there early! As soon as the sun peeked out over the horizon the bite started! We took more pics back at the dock. As soon as Mary from Off the Hook sends them I'll post them up too!

Here Harv with his Gracho disguise on trying to hide!

    Harv after landing it.

Here's Jim & his son Tom after the battle with the biggest of the day at just over 50"

    Yes,
there were quite a few boats out there yesterday! We kind of stayed away from the main fleet and did better that way.

No, where we fished it really wasn't to crowded! But we stayed away from the main fleet. We were about 3 miles from them. The fish seemed to be scattered over all the lumps out there.
