i am heading down to the outer banks to do some giant fishing with some charters and was wondering how it works with the fish that are caught, is it all catch and release or does the boat get the fish, or is there a split like when u fish up in mass and up north.

It's usually up to the captain. Most charge for trip unless they kill a over 73 inch. Then the trip is free and the boat gets the tuna.
