As for copper lasting longer than aluminum, yes, but you should be catching enough fish to change out your leaders often and not worry about it.

    Billfisher doubles.

The mushroom is ok for larger diam stuff but if I was rigging up 80-150# leader, On the double barrel crimps I use one crimp and heating up the area where the crimp is crushed will cause weakness in my opinion.

Stealth is key in my world

Over on page one somebody nailed it... Billfisher copper doubles... I was all Jink all the time for fifteen years or more. I had a problem that you can't pre rig a bunch of baits with aluminum sleeves and leave them salted for any length of time. Blown up too many crimps too many times to let stand in salted cooler for any more than a few hours.

Went to the billfishers and damn... They can sit on ice and salt for a couple days and have no wear at all... We used to pin rig onthe fly and I could have a bait re rigged and splashed in under a minute... WIth circle rigs being the game now they take time to rig so I have to pre rig a bunch. So the rig sits on the salt instead of just the baits... The billfishers get the nod for durability in that harsh enviroment....
