Nice Fish!! Glad she is still swimming....

What is the size limits for the WMO. Those blues killed in the 300's seem like a waste?

Excellent example of sportsmanship. Class move with a big slob at the boat and a lot of loot on the line.

    Doing the Right Thing!

You may not be in the "money," but in true sportsmans' eyes, you are real "WINNERS" and a class act! Congratulations on doing the right thing.

I don't understand. Lines out time is 3:30. It is not possible to hook a fish at 3:32 if lines out is at 3:30. The rules:

All lines and teasers must be removed from the water by 3:30 p.m.

I understand that it is just 2 minutes. And they had a big blue marlin that may eat prior to 3:30 and and I sure they were working to make it happen. And I admire their adherance to the spirit of the rules that a fish caught after 3:30 is not tournament legal.

I guess my question is this: do peope leave their spread out until 3:30 or do they bring it in so that all lines are out by 3:30. Do you write this off to excitement in the moment when I am sure that people were not closely watching the time.

When I fished tournaments with lines out time, I would make sure that at the lines out time, no line was in the water, which means I started to bring in the spread 5 minutes earlier, but I never was in the situation where I could have hooked up in the last minute either. Am I in the minority on this?

I appreciate any feedback on this as I really don't have any experience having never been in that position.
