    The BDay Adventure...

Its 1130pm central time. I woke up at 7:30. To say I havent slept much lately is an understatement.

Rewind to the last week in January. I get a phone call and about 5 emails from a buddy of mine asking if I would like to go on a little trip. Due to some prior business that had to be dealt with, I was unable to go on that trip, however, it has laid the foundation for the shitshow that I know is about to follow.
That portion of the adventure will be updated in a later post.

Now a few weeks ago I started a rather cryptic thread. Hopefully the following pictures will clear all that up for you.

Tonite was my last nite out here, soon to be followed by a week of class in Houston trying to stay awake, soon to be followed by... Well, I will let that part wait a little longer.

I decided to do a little casting once I got off work earlier in the day, the water was filled with tons of Tuna and a few ball-slapper Mahi. The wind was blowing pretty well so the attempt was rather futile.

Tonite as a different story. Dead flat. Saw quite a few shadows lurking at the edge of the lights so out came the Pipe and got to work. Didnt take long. The rest is self explanatory...

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

The next bite on a jig.
I see a few little fins sticking up there. The guys and cooks must really appreciate the fresh sushi out there. Good job.

Nice Fish Alex. It must be nice to get off work and chunk a line over the side and pull up tuna like that.
