I'm ready to rock and roll. Roffs is showing the water on the West wall is green/blue pushing up against dirty green with a 63.3 temp on the warm side and 50.7 on the cold side. From the looks of the roffs chart the temp and color break is running right up the west wall. I've been watching it all week and it looks as though it is pushing south. If it isn't there next week I'm ready to push out into the deep to get into the stream. Too bad the wind is jammed up this week, because I bet there are some bluefins on that break. If winds cooperate let's roll.

30 miles from where? the 1000 line? well, at 50 GPH and one hour, thats 2 hours of running or 100 Gal X $2.30/Gal= $230 bucks better spent in august to november in my humble opinion.

Color is impossible to see from the AVHRR satellites. The images from the satellites used to determine temperature come down in grey shade. No other satellite available put out that type of color infomation.

If i was going to fish that anyway I would do it sharking. That is about as ideal for some makos as you'll get. Me i'm off to splash the big boat and get the teaser reels mounted so we can kill somethings early next week.
