I'd really prefer for you to continue fishing your dead ballyhoo just as you do. Your reports keep me well entertained with your 1001 reason for hardship on each trip. I have to hand it to you... you are very consistent with that.
Hmmmm... Last tourney I ran dead bait in beat all but one of the fleet. Don't recall any hardship there except lugging that big fat brown bag home... Yeah I think I'll stick with it...

If hardship involves me letting a fish run a live daisy chain into the engine splash well then I guess I must have passed the blame right back to me...

Don't try to divert here desk job boy... Your previous post shows clearly that you don't have a clue about what hoos look like in the wild... So what is your purpose here? You chase me around the internet like some scorned ***** dumped on the side of a road...300 or so posts and almost half directed at me, the rest blowing hard about knowing all about custom boats (but you have established no track record as to ever having been around one) or throwing high fives at people who have no clue who you are... True to the letter of being a text book definition psycho stalker...
What is it about me that pisses you off? That I fish for a living and do a pretty good living at that? That I actually catch fish and usually win or place in a tourney or two each year? That I'm clean and sober and you can't quit? That I have a smokin hot wife that loves me? Well?

Ya got it all wrong Deepy. You don't piss me off at all, you are 100% entertainment. The more you "teach" folks and spew your embellished BS on here, the better the entertainment. This thread is one of the best examples ever of that.

By the way, you have me all mixed up. First you put me out on a farm, and now I'm behind a desk? My accountant will get a kick out of that. Can't wait to see where I end up next week. If you're lucky, perhaps I'll come teach you how to rig some ballyhoo to swim with circles.

I have no doubt your wife loves you dearly, but she needs you to head back out of town so she can get her mirror back.

    Sweet dreams cupcake.

    Rigging 101...

carefully select your hoos.. carefully break the back... figure out where you want your hook to set in the fish ( I set mine way back when I am in killing mode) ... get a nice piece of copper wire (longer wire for forehead rigging circles) ... slide your sharpened hook into the bait .. wire your hook / leader to the hoo ... (I was always told to not let them have the head if you miss them!) so wire the hoo on through the eyes / sockets <~~ (if you collect eyes) .. I rig a bunch of mine with different size worm leads to get them to swim *better* , and have the oportunity to 'drop / freeline' them down in a corner .. mine I like the back broken so they wiggle like they should . *hint you can chin rig them and split thier bill also on 60lb mono and they will actually dig in better. top them off with a sea witch to a duster to add color sometimes ...NOT hi-jacking your thread just this is my way... I still love fishing baits and most oldtimers I have ever fished with will and would look at ya funny if your spread was doing the 'helicopter'...

Mountain ...you think thats cool you should ..

see how I rig them for grouper trolling ... they carry two eye to eye 10/0's and grouper love them on the wire... (so do cudas though...

Wire man the way I rig mine with circles the hook makes a wierd little rip on the top and catches your eye all the time though... damn conservation side takes a toll on ya!

A sharp hook, a good drag and a lot of line will catch anything that swims!

Damn, I thought the spinners were the answer, no wonder I can't catch em like the rest of the fleet !!

Sea sometimes the strangest things happen....

had a sail up at the sea bouy catching bait one morning here and we called a charter friend of ours in to let his customers have a crack at him... a small boat trolled in close with a spinner and the thing piled on it... was cool to watch though... another cool bait to rig is a fresh bonefish / disco light.. but thats for bigger fish and I don't think this threads supposed to be about them... just remember dolphin like spinners though ..
