Bait Boxes...
Good side: They should be ready to go with everything from bottom fishing, pitch baiting, chunking, trolling big and small fish.
Bad Side:
1.You have to remember to actually put them on the boat to use them. 2. They can go bad really fast without care. 3. Without taking care of them you can look like a complete idiot.
A long time ago I filled in for a friend and fished with a ill-personality captain that was pissed because his mate was needing time off. He did not know me and made a comment like 'you probally don't know how to rig a squirl fish ..' well duh.. we all know black groupers eat them... (he was another 1 that thought all some people do is bottom fish..) so I went down the dock collecting every squirl fish that I could find in mt friends wells... I rigged up 24 with chin weights, skirts etc.. when the Capt got to the dock at 12:00 he lifted the lid... boat was ready and I was hanging out with the charter... he started yelling .. I asked the manic to chill and look in the next cooler.. it was pretty all strps n ballyhoo's with mullet n macks... ready to go.. he was pissed the whole trip and he fished us all hard all day... we caught the hell outta fish and had a great day...needless to say he never made under his breath comments to me anymore.. the rack of squirl fish looked great though! ...sharpen your hooks and check your drags!
