bait availability problems

is anyone out there having problems finding butterfish flats? or even sardines.....i'm in manasquan/pt.pleasant, nj and it seems as though the boats that usually get the bait for Sea Freeze switched to the more lucrative trade of scalloping and we are facing a bait shortage......with the weather this week it is not a problem but i just learned that the party/charter boats in the area are trying to scrounge up some butters.......

anyone else hear of this?

Showtime,

Your not alone. I run a 50' viking out of Pt. Pleasent called the Intrigue. You are not alone. There is a major shortage. We all knew this was coming. Hopefully you stocked up.
