Well the first day of August has passed and it was a slow one,
First thing this morning I had a 19lb Black Drum come in from a guy fishing the inlet off of the north Jetty last night, looks like he also caught a bunch of hard heads as well.
A couple of mid-day flatties then the charter boats came rolling in.
It was a 2 mahi day for the Ebb Tide, Let-Er-Eat, and the Virginia, the Good Vibrations caught some flounder and see bass on an afternoon half-day inshore, and our newest boat here at Bahia Gary's Grady caught 2 wahoo (38, 21lb) and a 40lb YFT.
A couple of boats reported late bites and others had fish first thing this morning, rumor has it that there was a chunking bite on Masseys today.
I know alot of you dont like to chunk but if that is how you have to catch them then it is what you have to do,
My feelings on this are pretty clear:
"I don't care how you catch them as long as you fill the box!!!!!" Troll, Chunk, Chum, Spear, It's all good.
